Rydges Perth Kings Square was acquired off-market in July 2022. The freehold 120-key hotel is a great value-add opportunity in one of the country’s hottest economies. Ideally located on Wellington Street in the Perth CBD and opposite the Perth Arena, the hotel will benefit from both corporate and leisure demand. The hotel was rebranded as part of the sale process and further value enhancements on the ground floor, first floor and rooftop will be considered in the medium-term.
North Sydney, Australia
The Miller Hotel, formerly Rydges North Sydney, was acquired in June 2022. The freehold 167-key hotel is a one-of-a-kind value-add opportunity, sitting on over 2,500 sqm of freehold land, in one of the hottest commercial real estate markets in the country. The hotel commands an enviable location, just off Miller Street and right next to the upcoming Victoria Cross Metro Station, which will significantly benefit the hotel in the future. Victoria Cross Metro Station will connect North Sydney and the hotel with Barangaroo in about 3 minutes. We are pleased to have retained Event Hospitality & Entertainment as our operating partner under the Independent Collection brand and will be undergoing a significant refurbishment of the asset in the short to medium-term.

At Inn Hotel Nagoya was acquired off-market in January 2022. The hotel opened in 2019 and is strategically located within walking distance from the main Nagoya train station. The property provides 112 contemporary rooms and 7 modern capsules, F&B facility and guest lounge. In the medium term, the hotel will be rebranded and will include additional rooms and a reconfigured public area.
Brisbane, Australia
Kennigo Hotel Brisbane, formerly known as Richmont Hotel, was acquired off-market in June 2021 and was relaunched and reopened in August 2021. Drawing on the strong track record, we are excited to have appointed EVENT Hospitality & Entertainment to manage the property under their new Independent Collection brand. The stylish 108-key hotel is located in the vibrant Fortitude Valley district and offers an exercise room, café as well as a historic Queenslander house which will house a new and curated F&B concept.
Singapore
The award winning Great Madras is a boutique hotel occupying a beautifully restored art deco building.
The property was purchased in 2015 and subsequently refurbished and reconfigured to enhance its overall product offering. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart Little India within close proximity to the Little India MRT Station.
The Great Madras was the recipient of the Architectural Heritage Award in 2018 from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and more recently the 2020 Design Award from the Singapore Institute of Architects.
Singapore
The Daulat is a boutique hotel housed in one of Little India’s historic shophouses. Built in 1910 and purchased in 2012, the group significantly refurbished the property to enhance the product offering and ultimately the asset value. The Hotel is strategically located nearby Little India MRT station and many of Singapore’s popular cultural attractions. The Daulat was selected as the finalist in the best guestroom midscale/budget/focused category of the 2013 Gold Key Awards as a result of the strategic refurbishment post acquisition.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Group recently acquired the MIDF Tower in Kuala Lumpur’s most vibrant district of Bukit Bintang.
The Group is working towards converting the existing office tower into a 400+ key hotel.
